Automation Support
Customer support is an integral part of our Mission and Vision. Our Automation Support Team brings together experienced molecular biologists, service engineers, and application specialists dedicated to simplifying, accelerating, and improving life sciences research.
Working closely with our global distributor network, our experts provide proactive, application-focused support to ensure optimal performance and successful implementation of our solutions.
Our customer approach is application driven. Every project at CleanNA starts with a clear understanding of the customer’s workflow and objectives. A key part of this process is the Project Acceptance Document (PAD). The purpose of the PAD is to create clarity and reach agreement up front to eliminate discussions during development or installation. This ensures an execution of the project up to your exact requirements.
The PAD outlines:
- Project goals and application requirements
- Performance targets and deliverables
- Hardware, software, and chemistry components involved
By defining these elements at the start of a project, the PAD ensures transparency, alignment, and efficient project execution—minimizing uncertainties during development, installation, and validation.
Have any questions? Reach out anytime. Our automation support team would be glad to learn about your needs and assist you.
FAQ
1. I need to obtain a script for my CleanXtract instrument. Where do I get this?
Please contact your local distributor for CleanXtract scripts.
2. Which plates are recommended for usage on my CleanXtract 96?
CleanNA strongly recommend to use 2,2 ml 96 deep-well plates and 96-well tip-combs provided by CleanNA.
3. Can I use plates from other manufacturers with the CleanXtract 96 instrument?
No, we strongly recommend to use CleanXtract plates from CleanNA to be used in combination with your CleanXtract 96 instrument. These plates are specifically designed and tested for use with the instrument to obtain optimal performance.
4. Can my magnets on the CleanXtract device become weaker?
Each of the instruments from the CleanXtract line has been equipped with high quality and stable magnets. Regular usage will not make the magnets weaker.
However, extreme mechanical force, heating or exposure to corrosive reagents can cause damage to the magnets.
5. How does my CleanXtract decontaminate process work?
All CleanXtract instruments are equipped with a UV-light to enable decontamination by selecting and running a pre-installed UV-decontamination method.
6. Where can I purchase the plastics for my CleanXtract 96 or CleanXtract LV?
Please contact your local distributor for ordering.
7. What are the typical yield when using a CleanNA extraction kit on the CleanXtract 96?
Yield is strongly depending on the samples type and sample input. All of CleanNA’s kits have been designed for optimal performance and provide nucleic acid of both the highest quality as well as the highest yield possible. For the typical yield of you application, please check the IFU of the corresponding CleanNA product.
8. What are the typical yield when using a CleanNA extraction kit on the CleanXtract LV?
Yield is strongly depending on the samples type and sample input. All of CleanNA’s kits have been designed for optimal performance and provide nucleic acid of both the highest quality as well as the highest yield possible. For the typical yield of you application, please check the IFU of the corresponding CleanNA product.
9. Do I need a computer to operate my CleanXtract instrument?
No, all CleanXtract instruments work standalone and are equiped with an internal computer and touchscreen.
10. How long does the installation of the instrument take?
Installation of the instrument is designed to be “plug and play”.
11. Can I damage the magnetic rods of my CleanXtract instrument?
By exposing the magnetic rods to extreme mechanical force, heating or corrosive detergents, the magnetic rods can become damaged. We strongly recommend to keep the magnetic rods away from other magnets to prevent them from clashing together.
12. Can I get a service contract for maintenance of my CleanXtract instrument?
Please contact your local distributor for more information on the availability of service plans for your instrument.
13. Can I use my CleanXtract instrument for RNA extraction?
Yes, in combination with an RNA extraction kit the CleanXtract instruments can be used for RNA extraction.
14. Where can I purchase a CleanXtract instrument?
You can purchase your CleanXtract instrument by contacting your local distributor or by contacting CleanNA directly.
